Power grid suppliers

How Clank works

Find relevant power grid suppliers, organize your requirements and move the conversation forward with your company’s team.

For equipment buyers

  1. Request access with your work email. Confirm your email so Clank can review your request. Approved users receive the instructions to join their company workspace. Requesting access does not start a subscription.
  2. Find and compare suppliers. Browse equipment categories and filter by the specifications and capabilities available for that category. Compare profiles, keep a company shortlist and save searches for your next project.
  3. Describe what you need. Enter equipment requirements or upload a requirements PDF for an editable starting point. Review the extracted details before submitting. Include quantities, delivery location, timing and the approvals your project requires.
  4. Review sourcing options. Your sourcing request goes to Clank. Supplier suggestions show the available information and details that still need confirmation. Submitting a request does not place an equipment order or send your documents to suppliers.
  5. Start the right conversation. Leave an inquiry with a supplier, choosing which project details and documents to share. You can contact directory suppliers before they join Clank. The message form tells you when the supplier still needs to join or activate membership before it can read and reply.

Request buyer access. Approved company memberships are $35 USD per month or $240 USD per year, plus applicable tax. See the membership billing policy for included features and cancellation.

For suppliers

  1. Join with Clank’s approval. Use your invited work email. Clank confirms your authority to represent the company and connects your account to its existing profiles and inquiries. A matching company name or email domain alone does not claim a profile.
  2. Activate your company membership. Once Clank approves your company connection, see how many buyer messages are waiting. Subscribe to read the inquiries, see who sent them and reply.
  3. Keep your company information current. Update contacts, locations, descriptions and equipment capabilities. Changes that require review show their status in your workspace. Preview the published profile as buyers see it.
  4. Respond to buyer inquiries. With an active supplier membership, your team shares an inbox for conversations buyers start with your company. Read, reply and exchange deliberately shared documents there. Suppliers cannot start unsolicited conversations with buyers.

The supplier membership is $50 USD per company per month, plus applicable tax, for the approved team. Membership includes company profile and capability management and a shared inbox for buyer-started conversations.

Understand supplier information and participation

A company can appear in the directory before it joins Clank. Contact labels explain the options currently available for a profile; they do not promise a response time or confirm equipment availability.

  • Contact through Clank means you can leave a buyer inquiry through the platform. It does not mean the supplier has joined or read your message. The message form shows when joining, activation or renewal is required before the supplier can read and reply.
  • Directory profile identifies a company listed in Clank’s supplier directory. The company may not have joined yet. An inquiry left for that company stays pending until Clank approves its company connection and the supplier activates membership.
  • Contact options means on-platform contact availability has not been confirmed. It does not mean the company has not joined Clank.

The profile’s About this profile section explains information review and where its details came from. This is separate from messaging availability:

  • Not reviewed by Clank means the profile has not completed Clank’s information review. Confirm the specifications and commercial terms relevant to your order with the supplier.
  • Reviewed by Clank describes review of the profile information for publication. It does not certify the supplier, its products or its performance.
  • Supplier-provided details identifies information submitted by the company. It can remain on a profile after account access changes and does not mean Clank independently verified every claim.

Use the profile’s dates, specification notes and references when evaluating a fit. Confirm model-specific certifications, utility approvals, delivery to your location, availability, lead time and price directly with the supplier. A company capability or published product range is not a stock offer.

Company work stays with the right people

Employees have individual sign-ins and company roles. Saved searches can be personal or shared with company buyers; supplier lists are shared with your company’s buyers. Conversation access follows company permissions and membership status. Before first payment, approved suppliers see a message count only. Previously subscribed suppliers whose paid access has ended see anonymous message activity until they renew. Buyer identities, message content, shared files and replies require active supplier membership.

Clank supports the sourcing workflow. Equipment purchases and their commercial terms are arranged with the supplier outside Clank. For account help, visit Contact Clank; for information handling, read the privacy notice.
