Business accounts and approval

Clank is a business service for sourcing power grid components and managing supplier information. You must be authorized to act for the company you represent. Use accurate company information and your own approved account. Invitations and account approval do not by themselves start a paid subscription.

Keep your sign-in credentials private and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. Your company is responsible for the users it authorizes and the information they submit.

What supplier membership provides

Approved suppliers can manage the existing company and category profiles that Clank has linked to their business. Company descriptions, business contacts and other permitted fields can be updated in the workspace. Company identity and technical capability changes may require review before publication.

Supplier submissions are distinguished from information Clank collects from other sources. You are responsible for the accuracy, currency and rights to the content you submit. Only describe certifications, capabilities, coverage and availability that you can substantiate. Clank may request clarification or decline inaccurate or inappropriate changes.

Subscription payment does not guarantee a listing’s publication, preferred ranking, leads, sales or a particular commercial result. Membership provides company profile management and buyer-started conversations under the access and review rules described here.

Buyer workspace and supplier conversations

Buyers can save and compare suppliers, maintain a private company profile, save personal or company searches and lists, submit sourcing requirements, and initiate conversations with available suppliers. Suppliers may reply within conversations a buyer started. Documents shared in a conversation require explicit confirmation; company-private sourcing notes are not automatically shared.

Document prefill and supplier suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Review extracted requirements and confirm specifications with suppliers. A suggested supplier is not a guarantee of compliance, certification, stock or suitability. Existing conversation history and replies, saved-work history and billing recovery remain available after paid buyer access ends, subject to current membership and security controls.

Your content and company information

You retain rights to the content you provide. You give Clank permission to store, process, review and display it as needed to operate the service, including showing published supplier profile content to approved marketplace users. You must have permission to provide the business contacts and documents you submit.

Do not place confidential order information, trade secrets or personal information intended to remain private in supplier profile fields. Uploaded sourcing documents are handled separately from published supplier profiles, as described in our privacy notice and security and document-handling explanation.

Subscriptions

Approved buyers can choose $35 USD per company per month or $240 USD per company per year, plus applicable tax. Both plans include the same buyer features and approved coworkers. Membership renews at the selected interval until canceled. Buyer and supplier subscriptions are separate when a company uses both workspaces.

The supplier beta costs $50 USD per company per month, plus applicable tax, and renews monthly until canceled. Before checkout, your company administrator must accept these terms and the billing policy, which forms part of these terms and explains supported billing countries, currencies, cancellation, payment failures and refunds.

Managed Payments subscriptions are sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record, under the payment terms shown at checkout. Link handles transaction support and tax invoices. Clank provides the software service and company support.

We will notify supplier companies before moving their subscriptions to the planned $100 USD monthly standard price. Applicable rights that cannot be excluded by law are not limited by our refund policy or these terms.

Responsible use

Do not impersonate another company, access another company’s private data, bypass access controls, scrape or bulk extract the marketplace, upload harmful material, or disrupt the service. Use information you access through Clank only for legitimate business purposes and respect other parties’ rights.

We may restrict accounts or remove content to address suspected misuse, inaccurate information, security issues or legal requirements. A billing cancellation and a restriction for misuse are different actions; contact us if you believe access was restricted incorrectly.

Equipment sourcing responsibilities

Supplier profiles and sourcing information can be incomplete or change over time. Confirm specifications, certifications, suitability, availability, pricing and contractual terms directly with the relevant provider before committing to an equipment purchase. Clank’s review of a profile is not certification of equipment or a supplier’s performance.

Equipment contracts and payments are arranged directly between buyer and supplier. Clank does not act as the equipment seller. The service may change and may experience interruptions. Contact us when information or functionality needs attention.

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when these terms change and provide notice of material changes affecting your subscription before they take effect. Questions about accounts, policies or the service can be sent to sales@clankindustries.com.
